Dr. Hongjiang Wei is an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Lyon in France in 2014 and did the postdoc training at UC Berkeley from 2014-2018. His research focuses on MRI-based Quantitative susceptibility mapping (QSM), ultra-high resolution brain imaging and deep learning. His interests also extend to other organs, e.g., liver iron quantification, cartilage degeneration disease susceptibility mapping, kidney disease imaging using magnetic susceptibility. He has led in the development of the very key quantitative susceptibility mapping (QSM) software package (STISuite), which are currently deployed in over 1000 research institutes worldwide.
魏红江，博士，生物医学工程副教授，博士生导师。 2014年在法国里昂大学获得电子工程博士学位，并在加州大学伯克利分校接受博士后培训。 近五年内在Brain, Neuroimage, IEEE TMI, MRM等领域内知名学术期刊发表论文80余篇，会议论文30余篇，授权专利5项， 领导定量磁化率图谱(QSM)软件包(STISuite)的开发，该软件包目前被世界各地超过1000科研单位使用，其主要研究方向为基于MRI的定量磁化率成像(QSM)、超高分辨率脑显微结构成像和深度学习。 这些技术对于诊断其他器官具有极大潜在价值，如肝脏铁沉积，软骨变性疾病的磁化率成像，肾脏疾病的磁化率成像。
